Care & Tips Wearing Your Jewelry Art

To preserve the appearance and integrity of your jewelry by Linette –

  • Avoid contact with cosmetics, hair products, and fragrances. Apply these prior to putting on your jewelry art.
  • On a regular basis, clean sterling and gold-filled metal jewelry by gently brushing with an old, soft toothbrush and sudsy ammonia mixed with warm water. Ammonia is a degreaser and will remove the built up oils and acids from hands that can accelerate the tarnishing process. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Wipe with a jewelry polishing cloth.
  • Commercial jewelry cleaner dips may be used according to directions. If overused, this method may damage your jewelry.
  • For all pieces including those with pearls I recommend using an ionic cleaner to remove tarnish. I use one from

Storage Tip: Keep your jewelry in plastic bags and/or jewelry boxes. Anti-tarnish pouches are very helpful too. Minimal exposure to air when not in use is the best way to keep your jewelry looking new!

Earrings made to “Dance”
For earrings made to dance through your earlobes with a length of continuous wire curve, always start from the front. Each side is customized and left and right sides are as shown. Generally the shaped wires curve toward the face, however because each person is unique, please switch sides and see which way you like wearing them best! If you have small holes in your earlobes I recommend dabbing a little antibiotic ointment on the front and back of your earlobes to enable the wire to slip through easily!
